Safari Overview

The Serengeti National Park is a renowned wildlife sanctuary located in the Serengeti ecosystem, spanning the Mara and Simiyu regions of Tanzania. It is world-famous for the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras, and 300,000 Thomson's gazelles across the Mara River.

Beyond the migration, the Serengeti is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino) and offers some of the best game viewing in Africa. Our expert guides will take you to the heart of the action, tracking prides of lions, leopards in trees, and massive elephant herds.

Sample 4-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arusha to Central Serengeti

Morning flight from Arusha to Seronera. Afternoon game drive in the Seronera Valley, famous for its large lion population and leopards. Overnight at a luxury safari lodge.

Day 2

Full Day Game Drive

Full-day game drive exploring different ecosystems. Picnic lunch in the bush. Search for cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and the ever-present wildebeest herds.

Day 3

Northern Serengeti & Migration

Drive to the Mara River area (seasonal) to witness the Great Migration crossings. Afternoon game drive in the Lobo area. Overnight at a luxury tented camp.

Day 4

Return to Arusha

Morning game drive. Flight back to Arusha, or extend your safari to Ngorongoro or Zanzibar beach.
